Great tasting Mexican food. Well cooked and served fast and fresh. Service was friendly and the atmosphere reminds me of a well decorated Mexican restaurant in Baja California. Table service guacamole was great, and the horchata was right on point!

Clean and friendly environment. Nice looking bar. Chips and salsa were yummy. Everyone's food came out quick and kids can out first which was a plus! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Mine was COVERED in chipotle dressing that was good just had way to much. There was barely any lettuce and it was packed with chicken and tomatoes which isn't a normal complaint but I would have liked to recognize what I was eating and had more lettuce in it. Anyways. They're pretty good overall just need to find a way to cut out some noise from the kitchen

Best Mexican restaurant in the area! The flavor of the food is spot on and the tableside guacamole is amazing. For the ones that were complaining about the wait time, this is a new restaurant and usually there are a lot of people that go to new restaurants in this area at once. If you would've asked, they would've have told you that there are only 2 chefs making meals in the back the first few weeks. Not enough to make meals for all tables in a short period of time. Don't pay attention to bad reviews, give this restaurant a chance. I'm Latin and I have visited many Mexican restaurants, this by far has been the best one!

It helps that we live a 3 minute walk from this place, and there's no smoke inside. We liken it to Don Jose's off 66, both have tons of choices. The tableside guac is good, their cheese dip is nothing special (but nobody's is around here), and the salsa is decent as well. The chips are hit and miss. I've enjoyed their quesadillas and enchilada combo plate. I got this grilled chicken thing with a tomato cream sauce, and asked for the sauce on the side and that didn't go over so well. The sauce tasted like mayo with chipotle pepper. Which is great on corn on the cob, but not cold over a chicken breast. But there are tons of options, and the service is pretty good for only being open for a few weeks. Sometimes it is hard to track a server down, especially when it's busy.

Great environment and the food was delicious. I've been there twice and I really enjoy the tableside guacamole. The chicken fajitas were like $10 and the portion was just right. Check it out.

The place is beautiful inside but the deco doesn't scream "Mexican Restaurant" to me.. I had the Burrito California and it was excellent! It was very large. My husbands fajita meat had little seasoning. My sons taco salad wasn't anything to brag about. The chicken tasted good but the shell was "stale" feeling and has no taste really.. Our server was good but you could tell she didn't know the menu very well. My son that got the kids meal with a soft taco loved his. This also included rice and beans.. My other son got the enchilada combo meal and liked it. I tried his ground beef and it was seasoned well. The rice was amazing!

I'm not the biggest fan of Mexican cuisine, but Cantina Bravo has made me a believer! This place has the best food in Saint Robert. You must try the fish tacos, well balanced flavors, the rice is cooked just right and the guacamole is made fresh (you have to order the guacamole separately). If you're in this town and you want good Mexican food, don't pass this place up. Believe me you'll really like it.

I don't see how this place has alot of good reviews on their Facebook but here's my expierence anyway. I went yesterday and ordered the enchiladas with carnitas. First of all the rice was a little undercooked and didn't really have much of a flavor . I got two small tortillas filled only with melted cheese and about 7 tiny pieces of carnitas layered on top and a couple jalapeños .The salsa that covered my enchiladas tasted like the canned salsa you get at Walmart . The beans also tasted like canned beans. The whole plate just seemed like it was microwaved and not fresh. I'm mexican so I know my food. It definitely was not what I expected .The salsa they give you with the chips had a strong taste of oregano in it. My husband went another time before with friends he said his burrito was really greasy and the michelada drink he ordered tasted straight up like pepper. We won't be back at this place again.

This is a fairly new restaurant that just open a few days ago. There is absolutely no hospitably in this restaurant. From the monument we sat down the waitress came over and said "I'll be right with you". 6-8 minutes later she came back to get our order. We waited a total of 12 minutes before we stopped another server and asked for our drinks. We ordered an appetizer that came out with the main meal. I also ordered a corne asada, which on the menu it stated that it comes with two thinly grilled steaks. My order came out with one steak, when asked about the missing one. The server went to the back of the house and asked. She returned to my table with, they talked it over and that's what you get. She said because it was on the big side they only gave me one. We also ordered a White Russian, the server came back to us and stated they didn't have anything to make that drink and doesn't know why it's on their menu. The manager finally came to our table. Once we started talking he told me that the meat was cut wrong so therefore I was only getting one steak. As for the White Russian he also said he didn't know why it was on the menu. After getting the run around from him about the menu and the food, he told me that he isn't new at this and knows what he is doing. He then offered a discount, which in turn I told him I didn't want the discount I wanted the steak. After being force to take the discount I told him nicely that I would not return. He looked at me and my friend and said "I can't make everybody happy, hope to see you around". OMG! Never coming here or recommending this restaurant.

Don't waste your time. The food was bad and the wait staff worse. Every time I needed something I had to look around for our waiter and then flag him down because he did not seem to notice the empty drinks on the table. Fish tacos were a joke.

If I could give zero stars I would. It was nice and clean looking and all but it didn't seem very Mexican and the music at a lunch hour was quiet loud. The I got tea that was old had been sitting to long. I ordered huevous con chorizo it was so gross I could hardly eat it first off huevous are traditionally never scrambled. That was the only way they served them here and the chorizo was dog food grade at best (super greasy and didn't really taste like chorizo) and there was hardly any egg to it. It was served with refried beans, tortillas, and rice. The refried beans came from a can you could so taste it. The rice was bland and closer to just chicken broth rice than anything Mexican. Hubby had the lunch enchiladas some were crispy yet soggy, bland in flavor, and over all a just ehh. Oh the chips they brought out with salsa were just greasy as can be as whoever fries them has no clue how to do it. Our server was completely worthless also, when asked about items on them menu she had no clue about them and made no effort to go find out. Plus she didnt even take notice that I didn't eat my meal, my plate was almost full of food. I only ate my rice. She was complaining about wrapping silverware as she was taking our plates. We won't be returning I rather go to El Jimador as they have much much much better food. We both felt quiet sick after eating there.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
